Easier access to the water from Dolphin

Dolphin Stairlifts, which supplies a range of access equipment for the disabled, has introduced the Oxford Dipper pool lift.

Designed by Sunrise Medical for use at swimming pools, therapy pools and quayside locations, the new launch is capable of handling weights up to 140kg (22 stone). It is equipped with a moulded plastic seat which can also be quickly and easily mounted onto a stainless steel transporting unit to move the user to and from the side of the pool.

Made from mild steel with stainless steel parts and finished in anti-corrosive paint, the Oxford Dipper is available with a choice of fixings for either tile or concrete floors. It comes with a detachable mast and 360 degree boom, the latter raised and lowered by two simple controls. When not in use, the hoist can be removed from the socket to leave a completely flush surface.

Suitable for both domestic and commercial applications, the Oxford Dipper comes with full instructions and is claimed to be quickly and easily installed within half a day.
