Banbury- based Lochinvar has supplied high efficiency water heating equipment to a fitness club in Cheshire.

The water heater and boiler manufacturer provided six Infinity LIWH26i gas fired water heaters to the new build FX Leisure fitness club project in Stalybridge, to supply hot water for the changing area and shower facilities.

The Infinity 26i is room sealed and designed for internal installation and has a hot water flow rate of 19.6 litres per minute at a temperature rise of 33C. A built-in digital controller is a standard feature and includes self-diagnostic fault-finding and temperature setting. The company says the system can provide a reliable supply of hot water coupled with economy and efficiency.

Compact and lightweight in design, the Infinity range is described as being flexible and easy to install.

It features low NOx burner technology and can be supplied with vertical balanced flue assemblies of up to 10m in length or horizontal runs of up to 9m.

The new club has facilities including a heated swimming pool with massage, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room in the wet area. There is also a fully equipped gym incorporating both cardio and resistance kit, with a separate 'Cardio Xperience' room for the serious trainer.
