Advance Specialist Products has just launched Fasta Pasta, a new cooking concept which produces a bowl of profitable, freshly cooked spaghetti in 90 seconds.
Ideal for an ever-increasing market sector seeking a healthier alternative to traditional fast food fare, it retains the three key features that appeal to fast food fans - it's quick, easy and cost effective.
Advance says that the substantial margins on the spaghetti and sauces make Fasta Pasta highly profitable and it's also easy to refill and maintain and is self-cleaning, perfect for deskilled cooking environments.
Graham Horne, Managing Director of Advance Specialist Products comments: "High capacity supermarket restaurants can really benefit from our 'spaghetti only' Fasta Pasta P.U. model, complemented with a bain marie of sauce.
"Cafes, sandwich shops, airport restaurants, service stations, health clubs, universities, leisure facilities and leisure attractions, on the other hand, may want to opt for the pasta and sauce version, the Fasta Pasta P.U.S., which delivers a hot bowl of spaghetti with the customers choice of sauce.
"There's the option of a take-away bowl or, alternatively, seated restaurants can plate up the spaghetti and sauce to help further increase the perceived value of the dish."
The system comes with a choice of 19, 24, 35 or 44 portions and a total vending version - the Fasta Pasta P.U.S.V. - will be introduced later in the year.
Also new from the company is Burger Express, a ventless conveyor grill system which comes in two models and can produce either 100 or 200 burgers an hour.
The average frozen burger takes only two minutes to cook and the system, depending on the model chosen, will release two or four cooked burgers every 30 seconds.
Finally, Advance's new American Griddle features a patented Steam Shell® technology which is claimed to cut cooking times by up to a half by cooking food from both the top and the bottom.
Ideal for businesses that are having problems coping with demand, needing to improve the quality of their food, seeking to increase the number of covers or merely requiring a new griddle, the American has an instant recovery time, meaning there's no need to wait for it to reheat after cooking.
