Final opportunity to enter the Gold Standard Fitness Awards 2018

Enter now for your chance to be awarded the UK’s best Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor or Gym Team of the Year

Optimum Nutrition is proud to announce that the Gold Standard Fitness Awards returns for 2017 to acknowledge the outstanding work and commitment of fitness professionals all over the country. This will be the second year Optimum Nutrition will host the Awards and follows on after a successful launch in 2016 which saw outstanding talent come through.

The Awards were created in order to provide the best in the business with the opportunity to be acknowledged for their dedication and achievements in encouraging people to exercise, as well achieve their health and fitness goals.

The ON Gold Standard Fitness Awards provides an exciting opportunity for individuals in the fitness community from local boot camp leaders, specialised exercise instructors to one-man personal training businesses to be recognised for their leadership, innovation and success within their trade. They must be able to demonstrate professional achievements within the industry including increasing exercise participation and client success.

Trainers can nominate themselves in one of five award categories, including:

• Gold Standard Personal Trainer

• Gold Standard Gym Team

• Gold Standard Group Fitness Instructor

Winners will be selected by high profile industry leaders within the fitness world including: Fitzroy Gaynes, Richard Tidmarsh and Richard Scrivener.

Optimum Nutrition athlete and two time WBFF Pro Fitness Model World Champ Shaun Stafford says: "These awards will help shift the focus back onto what is important in a good trainer or coach - the ability to guide and nurture anyone towards a goal or aspiration, to keep a keen interest on the latest innovations in their field to develop safe and effective training plans, and to motivate and inspire their clients and colleagues to strive for more both in and out of the gym."

Fitness instructor of the year 2017, Janine George says: "The Awards are a very exciting opportunity for fitness professionals like me to be recognised. Since receiving the Award last year, I have had the opportunity to be profiled in various fitness magazines and work with Optimum Nutrition on events, content opportunities and have seen my social channels grow. It’s been a lot of fun being part of it all."

Benoit Batard, head of Marketing at Optimum Nutrition, says: "There is currently no other awards programme for personal trainers. This is a great opportunity to giveback to the creators and drivers of health and fitness."

Entries for the Gold Standard Awards open from 18th September. Personal trainers, fitness instructors and gym teams can nominate themselves online at www.goldstandardzone.com
