Voya Men’s Range uses ‘unparalleled’ healing properties of seaweed, says managing director

Voya Man is a performance-based three-step skincare system that features the Invigorating facial wash, Cooling shave gel and Rejuvenating moisturiser

Irish spa brand Voya has launched an anti-ageing skin care range for men. Voya Man is a performance-based three-step skincare system that is designed to treat a range of skincare concerns including dryness, inflammation, enlarged pores and fine lines and wrinkles.

Designed specifically for male skin, which is thicker and more acidic, with higher collagen levels than female skin, the range features a facial wash, shave gel and moisturiser.

The products are formulated with Speci’Men and Definsil-Plus, naturally derived active ingredients that are scientifically proven to repair the skin’s natural protective barrier and reduce signs of fatigue.

"Launching an organic facial Men’s Range was a necessary and natural progression for us," says Mark Walton, managing director at Voya.

"Men are now paying more attention to their skin. Voya is receptive to market demands and answered with a three-step simple facial solution for men. The unparalleled healing properties of seaweed means the anti-inflammatory functionality of these products reduces sensitivity, irritation, razor burn and helps reduce acne. This range packs a unique smelling citrus spice punch that we are very proud of."

The Invigorating Facial Wash is designed to remove impurities while being gentle on the skin. It contains perilla seed oil which regulates inflammation and is rich in Omega 3, vitamin E to support new cell growth and Himanthalia Elongata seaweed to hydrate.

The Cooling Shave Gel is designed to soften the hair follicles, making it easier to shave, and offers fast-acting relief for irritation, including razor burn. It contains sea heather, to soothe sensitive skin, menthol to cool and refresh the skin, and Himanthalia Elongata seaweed extract to restore the skin’s moisture levels.

The Rejuvenating Moisturiser is designed to repair damage and protects the skin from free radicals and weather damage. It contains Laminaria Digitata seaweed to restore moisture levels, and diminish fine lines. Other ingredients include clove bud which acts as an antiseptic, cinnamon bark oil, a healing agent to treat razor burn, and black cumin seed oil to fight acne.
