Cumbria-based Colony Gifts has created a local candle collection called 'Made in the Lake District' and inspired by the region's natural flora and fauna.

Created to draw attention to craftsmanship in the Lake District, the range has been designed to maximise retail opportunities in hotels, tourist information centres, regional gift stores, heritage properties and attractions.

Product packaging is simple and easy to display, and a specially designed compact merchandising unit is also available.

Designed to appeal to tourists and gift purchasers, the 'Made in the Lake District' range comprises a large wax filled jar, a small wax filled jar and a wax filled tin.

The hand-made candles have been created in four natural fragrances: Chamomile and Lavender; Wild Daisy and Sage; Oak Wood and Vanilla and Lemon Balm and Thyme.
