It can process 8 coin denominations at speeds of up to 3000 coins per minute and uses Scan Coin’s patented sensing system to validate all coins. Foreign, unrecognised or invalid coins are rejected.

As soon as any coin position is full, the SC 2018 automatically re-circulates all coins of that type whilst continuing to process other denominations.

All processing information is tagged with an operator identifier and the machine can be connected to an external cash management system using an RS232 port. If a printer is attached, the machine can generate reports – by denomination, totals and operator – on the number and value of coins sorted.
