Leading British sports equipment manufacturer and installer, Continental Sports, has agreed to provide floors and equipment for the Acrobatic Gymnastics Championships to be held in Glasgow in October.

As part of the agreement, the company will supply three specialist sprung floors at the Kelvin Hall International Sport Arena.

These will be used for competition while a fourth floor will provide a training area for competitors.

The floors are also being used for the Gymnastics Grand Prix which follows the Acrobatic World Championships in October.

The Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships will be held at the Kelvin Hall International Sports Arena in Glasgow from the 3rd of October this year. More than 800 competitors from 22 nations are expected to attend the event with junior age groups competing for the first week and the seniors arriving for competition in the second.

The Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships and World Age Group Games will be followed by the Gymnastics Grand Prix which will see the city host a three week Gymnastics extravaganza.
