Independently judged by Becta, the government agency leading the national drive to ensure the effective and innovative use of technology throughout learning, the BETT Awards play a key role in identifying innovative technological products that are effective in the education sector.

The judges review all BETT Award entries based on several criteria which includes design, cost-effectiveness, support of higher order skills and effective learning and teaching styles.

On the technical side they are also looking for robust and resilient products and the accessibility that they offer for those with specific needs.
