Industry event organisation Spa Life is gearing up for the first-ever Spa Life Scotland Convention, due to be hosted at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Glasgow from 28-30 April.

Similar to its counterparts, the Scottish edition will offer a robust conference agenda, facilitating discussions on industry trends and challenges and a speed-networking forum where buyers and suppliers enjoy dedicated time to discuss their business needs.

In addition, the convention will feature a mini-expo where both local boutique suppliers and global brands can exhibit their latest products and services.

Keynote addresses, breakout sessions, and networking opportunities, including a Gala Dinner, are also on the agenda.

Speakers scheduled for the event include:
• Finlay Anderson, area spa director at InterContinental Hotels (IHG Group).
• Lesley Blair MBE, CEO of BABTAC and CIBTAC.
• David Cochrane, chief executive of Hospitality Industry Trust, Scotland.
• Helena Grzesk, MBE, COO, British Beauty Council.
• Kirsty MacCormick, founder of The Spa Consultancy and co-founder and CEO of BBSpa UK.
• Dr Glenda Rivoallan, speaker, consultant, author and professional wellbeing strategist
• Jacqueline Ross, spa and wellness consultant.
• Jenny Storey, director of education at The Academy and director at Urban Retreat.
• Chris Wayne-Wills, CEO of Crerar Hotels.

Andrew Hammond, event director, said: “We know that wellness never stands still, so Spa Life Scotland will cover all the latest trends, knowledge and inspiration to assist in creating exceptional wellness experiences and keep moving your business forward.

“Attendees will leave invigorated and inspired, with actionable insights to put into practice in their businesses.”

Hammond says the event has attracted professionals from across the breadth of the Scottish spa sector, ranging from spa operators and leading brands to industry consultants.

Spa Life Scotland has been organised in partnership with the Scottish Spa Collective, the UK Spa Association (UKSA) and the Hospitality Industry Trust Scotland.
