Wattbike pedal power helps drive the OTE Performance Centre and Altitude Chamber

Wattbike’s performance computer enables the accurate measurement of over 40 parameters
OTE Sports, as a brand, recognises that athletes desire to be better than yesterday, that’s why they offer their members access to their state of the art OTE Performance Centre and Altitude Chamber, stocked with high-tech equipment, including Wattbike.

“I’ve been a Wattbike user for a number of years and know first-hand the beneficial data the bikes provide, data which helps users understand technique, performance and progression. When we were planning the OTE Performance Centre and Altitude Chamber it was clear to me the Wattbike was the fitness solution we needed. We required a bike that was able to provide robust data and stand up to high usage and the Wattbike does just that," said Matt Harrison, managing director of the OTE Sports Nutrition and Performance Centre.

Annie Simpson, OTE Sports member and elite Cyclocross Rider, added: “I’ve had a few performance tests in the past but they’ve always been for other people to monitor my progress – I never really understood the results myself. I think that was my main barrier to it, doing the test but not truly understanding the scientific outcome.”

Wattbike’s performance computer enables the accurate measurement of over 40 parameters. Combined with a fully customisable ride setup and the feel of riding a real bike, it provides the user with a highly effective power-based training solution.

Rachell Crew, Wattbike commercial sales manager added: “The Wattbike helps OTE members truly understand their personal progression and take control of their training. By linking to the Wattbike hub app, the parameters that the Wattbike measures provide the user with an extraordinary range of monitoring and allows coaches to have access to a broad range of vital performance data.”
